We are Henk & Esther, born and raised in Noord Holland, the Netherlands. Henk is a former construction contractor and Esther a farrier and florist. We both love animals and were planning on opening a horse pension in holland. This dream turned out to be beyond our reach, with the banks not cooperating.
This made us decide to move to France and start La Fermette Henriette. We have had quite a bumpy ride, but our first gîtes are done and we are very happy with the results.
We offer horse riding and dogsitting services and we sell our own eggs and produce from our gardenfarm. There are many animals around our premises, so any dogs you bring have to be a bit social.
